So yeah, who took the SAT today, and are you going to take the ACT in 2 weeks? If you are, how did you prepare for them given the closeness of their dates

I took SATs this June and then the ACT a week later. I didn’t study at all in between, haha. It honestly felt nice to just take the week off and relax. You can’t really cram for the ACT, so for me at least, there wasn’t any point in stressing myself out.

Or I could’ve just been lazy :). But I really think all the SAT studying was enough.

I am, I really should study should’t I…? lol

I retook the SAT yesterday and I’ll be retaking the ACT in two weeks.
My goal is to finish the red book and the 1296 PR (if I really get to it, that is.)

I retook the SAT yesterday and I’m retaking the ACT in 2 weeks as well. This was my 2nd SAT and this will be third ACT, counting state testing. My first SAT was a 2120, and I used the free 4 reports to send that to colleges so I wanted to raise it, and that’s why I retook. I used Silverturtle’s Guide and the BlueBook2 for the SAT, and now I’m going back through Silverturtle’s grammar guide and I plan on completing the red book.

I really don’t know if I should bother to study for ACTs this time. I just took this month’s SAT and i’m planning to take again for November. It might be better if I sacrifice the study time I have for ACT for the SAT instead? Ahh! But I want to study both!
Should I still study ACT anyway even though I only have 2 weeks? o.o

Well, for me, I got a 34 twice without studying so I figure I don’t need to study quite as hard to raise it that last one/two points. For this reason, I tried to focus more on the SAT. I would say study for the ACT til the ACT, and then switch to the SAT. That is what I would do, and although I had the SAT first.

lol i am no time to prepare for it either…

and i might late-reg for some sat ii’s in november

Haha SchsKid1 you don’t even need to retake them again!

I took last week’s SAT, the PSAT today and I’ll be taking the ACT in a few weeks. Then the SAT again in Nov, the ACT again in Dec, and two SAT subject tests also in Dec. FUNN!

All of these for the first (& second) times due to the fact that I’m a junior and just decided to graduate a year early. So I’m really behind in all of this but hoping it turns out well. :/

Haha wow, that’s a lot. Well, that’s junior year; it’s the peak of your high school years. In your case I guess it’s the end haha. Good luck with everything! :)

Thanks, I’ll likely need it…

I don’t really have anything left to take if I were to do senior year but now I am worried that I won’t get in anywhere, let alone my top pick(s), and will end up in limbo. I can’t wait for that SAT score so I have a better idea.
