who wants a krabby patty?

So I'm looking at Stanford and thinking of applying there SCEA. Can I get any feedback? If there's anything lacking in please point it out (SATs, extra curriculars, etc). Oh and do you think my family and/or ethnic background may help me out? Thanks a bundle for everything.

PROFILE:
Whitish male (from an eastern Mediterranean background so I'm a lot darker than most white people)
Mom-high school grad
Dad-some high school and an immigrant to the US.

Suburban High school that does fairly well in college admissions (5-10 to ivies plus good other uni's and LAC's)

Class rank: 20/520 (I think my rank has improved though, I have to check)
GPA weighted 4.7-4.8 out of 5.2 (school only does weighted)
National Honor Society
National German Honor Society

SAT Reasoning: 2200
-Reading 700
-Math 770
Writing 730

Subject Tests:
-Japanese with Listening 790
-World History 740
(may take math 2 in october, hopefully on par with these two)

Awards (or anything that gives me recognition)
-participant in Area all state orchestra
-best german student award
-scored in 99% percentile on AATG (american association of teachers of german) test.
-passed level 3 of the JLPT (japanese language proficiency test)

EC's
-German Club 9-12 (have been secretary, Vice and Pres)-heavily involved. We have an active ongoing exchange program with a school in Hamburg, do a lot of fundraisers (cabaret's, car washes, German candy sales), and at the end of every year put on a mini-play at a dinner along with every other language club. We do more, just can't write it all.

-Track and Field (both indoor and outdoor seasons) 9-12.
There's no clear distinction between varsity/jv but our team is pretty good.
There is a possibility that I may be a captain next year.

-Nature center volunteer 9-12. Over 300 hours. Go there very often (although this summer I had to temporarily stop for scheduling conflicts-will resume next year)

-Honors String ensemble 11-12. I play Viola. This is a small string group made up of the best 25 string players in our school orchestra (which I have been involved with all four years) and we play all over our community. We've played at rehab centers, senior homes, book stores, private club, etc.

-I don't know what to call this next one. But I take Japanese classes after school but after my own lesson I am a teaching assistant to my Japanese teacher and help with 2 of her other classes.

-Model United Nations Club. 11-12. Not too heavily involved (yet) in this club. This is simply because our schools MUN was only founded this year and so its too young to have much going for it.

Work:
-cashier at diner where my dad works
-Lifeguard at a lake (requires extra certifications)

Summers:
Last year-applied to the experiment in international living and got in. I was able to go to Japan for a month as part of a group. This included a home stay.
This year-(lifeguarding-same as previously stated)

My teacher recs should be fantastic since I know my two teachers extremely well. My guidance counselor said she'd write me an especially good rec because she looks very favorably on lifeguards.

My essays should be on par with everything else as well.

thanks again (especially since you had to read through this really long post)

I've always wanted a krabby patty. :(

Good chances...

Hippo: Your resume looks really fine to me. Don't see anything lacking. Good luck!

Thanks for your replies and words of encouragement! I really appreciate it. I've just been concerned because I keep hearing that the early pool for Stanford is supposed to be insane and I'm not entirely sure how I stand (the same even goes for the normal pool).
I feel like my SAT might be a tad low comparatively but I'm not sure. I feel the same way about my class rank. Any thoughts?

I just want to know whether I'd be torn to shreds by the competition or if I actually have a legitimate shot of receiving an acceptance letter come December, what with all these people being national award winning whatevers.

Would you say I have an "average shot," above average chance, etc?

I'm really sorry for being so freaked out. But it's a really, really scary thought knowing that in only a few months I'll be submitting applications.

Search for the SCEA decisions thread; that might give you an idea of how you stand.
