I'll be scoping out La Jolla and the greater San Diego region asking for job applications sometime this month.

Does anyone want me to pick some up for them as well? :D Though, I will be assuming you will be driving, as I'm willing to commute 10-15 miles if the oppurtunity is good enough.

Also, should I bother looking for internships myself, or is the UCSD student resource department sufficiently adept to supply us with a good amount of openings?

I'm going under Econ and Math and planning to minor in Sociology, Psychology, or possibly some IT focus, if that matters.

i was wondering how far seaworld is from ucsd campus. are there any busses/shuttles that take you directly to it? that would be cool. i am not saying this randomly in a job thread. lol. i basically have a guaranteed job there at an art company because i work for that company now in the bay area. i would just transfer. i won't do it, though, if it is too inconvenient.

kenny, you wanna pick some up for me as well? =] =] =]?

you probably know my taste by now. so yeah, can you grab apps at places that seem "vi-ish" (ex. hooters). actully no, i'm not...enough for hooters. *****es.

erk. but then how will i get the apps from you? ehh. darn the hundreds of miles separating norcal and socal!

wow if you could get me some applications that would be awesome... cept i donno how i would pick em up from u... i'm not takin my car down south, so it might be a problem commuting to work... but i'm still looking forward to gettin $$$$PAID$$$$

I really want a job too! I don't know if I want one off-campus or on-campus though. It would be cool if I could do an internship at a large corporation near UCSD.

You guys can--technically--send me a private message and I can mail out the applications. If that's too much hassle, I can just talk to each of you individually after I visit San Diego and seeing whether or not you'd be interested.

If anything, I can just hold the applications from the various locations and give them to you during orientation day(s) if I see you.

If you guys are interested in working at the same place as me, I think I would be willing to drive as long as we work the same shift.

@Vi

Hahaha. I'm willing to go to Hooters, but not to pick you up an application :

Hahaha. By the way, that last post was from me. I was at my friend's house and forgot he had an account, too, so I didn't notice I was using his name to reply.

working while going to college can be quite difficult. especially if you make the mistake of taking an early class to be able to work. thats just personal experience.
