Guys, this thread makes me even more nervous. I don’t want to think about how things will be after decisions come out, one way or another. Ahhh.

I’d much rather open my decision alone w/o anyone knowing I’m checking it to save the initial embarrassment if I get rejected. But I’m stupid and I told my mom when decisions are coming out so she marked up our calendars and all that so she’ll probably be like CHECK YOUR DECISION NOWWW and she’ll probably be waiting outside my bedroom door.

laksjdofiawjeoidjx why otl

I’m going to wait for the letter in the mail and have my parents open it.

I’m checking it w/ my friend who applied to wharton to cry at our rejections/laugh at him/party/egg his car

So if I go into the decision site and see if I am accepted/rejected/deferred what word will I see first each?
or do they just tell you “your accepted”

you’re****

Diablo! Nice to see another fellow californian from the bay area on this thread.

parukia911///
Hey thanks for the edit
is ur birthday 9.11 or is it just ur ID

yeah, i’ll probably open the webpage alone. my parents will be able to tell whether i got in by my excited yells or my somber expression.

Hahaha iSeraphic, I totally feel you…
and that’s exactly what’ll be happening at my house.

i’ve been trying to hide the decision date from my parents but they found out -.- i wont be surprised if they hack into my email or something to retrieve my password to find out before me

It’ll be right after school for me, and I’ll be home alone, with all my friends probably off doing their sports or after-school clubs, and my parents both at work… I guess I’ll be opening mine alone. Anyone else in this situation?

^Yep! Same situation, except I’ll get home around 7pm EST (Mock Trial competition at 6pm, unfortunately.)

I actually prefer to be alone, since I don’t think I can handle the stress of someone else (i.e. parents) standing behind me as I find out my result.

Everyone’s already getting all hyped up when there’s still 6 whole days left?.. I think we’ll probably burn out before the decisions even come out lol…

Loved Wharton17’s response… Epic~

Painful for people out here in Asia… 6 am in the morning… I’d probably be sitting beside the computer at sunrise waiting for the results all be myself in my poor lonely apartment…= =… I don’t think I’d even feel like going to school that day if I get rejected…but then…hmm… I prob wouldn’t feel like going to class if I got accepted either… I’d be running around Shanghai screaming or something~

^you live in Shanghai? I live there too!
Gosh, 6 more days left and I’m so paranoid about the decision. :P

^
OOOOOOOOO!!! REALLY!!!
Which school are you from?!!
Lol… wonder if you were one of the people I met at the Korn Ferry Interview place~

^ LOL I go to an international school at Hongqiao.
I’m not sure if anyone in my school has applied to Penn for ED
I did my interview at Korn Ferry place (don’t remember the exact time).
How about you? Which school do you go to?

^I’m from SHSID, I’m the only one applying ED for UPenn at my school this year…(as far as I know…)
Great to meet a Shanghai Person~ Best of luck with everything!

It’s coming at 4:30am on the 13th morning in India, which is a terrible time to have your future decided for you. It’s far too early to wake up early and check. Looks like I’m not sleeping that night.

And at @chrezie, if you’re in HK/China, it’s actually 7 am in the morning :).
