I recieved my Siena/AMC rejection letter yesterday by mail (not surprised or disappointed, I knew my essay wasn’t good), but got my RPI/AMC supplemental application today through email.

They’re probably still sending them out. Don’t worry.

Congratulations oneal32. I’m curious, how’d you find out you got an interview? My son applied to the LIM program but he hasn’t heard anything. Does that mean he didn’t get in?

^according to last year’s thread, people got em until the end of february. I am thinking they may have picked the top 100 and then are giving interviews by order of last name.

What does ur son’s last name start with? If it is like A, then im wrong. but if not, they I am pretty sure that is what they are doing because the lady told me they invite like 10-20 kids at a time.

Thanks Paki786. My son is at the end of the alphabet if it goes alphabetically by last name. I wonder why they send out notices in batches? Are people offered spots on a rolling basis?

i got my interview notification by e-mail. they gave me instructions from there. and my last name starts with an S so idk if it’s alphabetic or not. i sent my app jan.4 as well

The interviews could possibly be sent out by location. Oneal, do you live in New York (or a neighboring state)? I live in Cali, on the other side of the country =p

And does anyone know the latest date that applications from previous years have been given a supplement from the med school? I’ve been forwarded for med school review to some of the other BA/MD programs I’m applying to, but so far, not from this one. Getting worried…

Same here…a lot of ppl i know have gotten replies from RPI for filling out the med school supplement and I have yet to get one so I don’t know what’s up.

email to fill out supplement at certain url and they give you a login and password. they mail you something telling you to fill out the application too to make you check your email, or something of the sort. i didnt need the mail, everything i needed to know came in the email

It’s impossible that you sent in your LIM application yesterday.
It was due over a month ago.
You’re a ■■■■■ or you’re a junior who’s being arrogant and not focused on doing well junior year.
I live in New York City proper.
My deadline for the AMC application was Jaunary 5th 2010 (because their linked failed for a whole 24 hours).
My stats are personal.
I don’t think I have any hooks.
I wrote good essays.

All the AMC programs (maybe not Siena, but RPI and probably Union) send out their supplements in batches. I recieved my AMC medical supplement (I applied to RPI) on 01/12 and submitted it 01/18 (it was due 01/19 for me), while others got theirs when you did, in an earlier “batch”.
