<p>in my why columbia short answer, i essentially focused on one topic which was, what i found fascinating, the campus-inside-NYC thing. obviously, i mentioned other stuff but as a lengthy writer due to writing elegantly, i had to only focus on one topic and i didn’t want to go with “oh you guys are so great cause you’re ivy league”</p>
