The Butler forum is a little… well… underrepresented? Anyone who is applying to Butler University this fall, post here! Let’s get our own little thread started!</p>
<p>My son will be applying for pharmD. He would never post here, though! 
We visited last spring, and he really liked Butler. The only issue for us would be financial aid … it sound like merit aid is less likely for pharmD students than it is for other majors. He’ll apply, though, and see what happens.</p>
<p>I’m applying for the pharmD as well… but I think I’ll probably end up going to Pitt. Butler only gives out $13,000 a year max for merit scholarships… and I just can’t afford to pay the rest of tuition myself…</p>
<p>How does the pharmD program work? Are you admitted pre-pharmD only? I really liked Butler, but that’s how it worked for their physician assistant program. You aren’t officially admitted until Junior year and they cut quite a few people at that point. Son decided he didn’t want to compete against his classmates for two years so found a program that was direct admit.</p>

<p>I applied for their business school, but it’s unlikely that i’ll go there unless I recieve a lot of financial aid. I’ll probably end up going to Kelley at IU, though I like Butler a lot.</p>
