Who's applying to Haas for Fall 2014?

hey guys i transferred last year to haas! feel free to shoot me a pm or post here if you have any questions! good luck and go bears!!! :)

We did it. The supplemental application has now reached the deadline, now all we can do is wait!

I wish everyone the best of luck!!!

Hi everyone! I’ve applied to HAAS and a bunch of other UCs. Good luck to you all!

Nine more days guys. This is ******* brutal. Has anyone heard back from any other schools? I got into UCI and UCSB for Economics, so I’m happy about that!

I’m trying for Haas as well. My GPA is on the low side (3.67), but I figure someone’s gotta drag down that average :slight_smile: So far, I’ve been admitted to UCR and UCSB. Good luck to all!

Hi everyone! I am a current Haas transfer junior. If you are deciding on enrolling at Haas, please feel free to add yourselves to the Haas School of Business Transfer Class '16 Facebook Group. Spread words to family and friends!

I just got in! :smiley: I will definitely be joining that group soon. Congrats to everyone who got in!!!

Hi everyone! I got accepted to HAAS, UCLA, UCSD, UCSB and UCI :slight_smile: I submitted my SIR to UCLA. Good luck to all of you.

@AprilZeb‌

Congrats! Just curious…why did you decline Haas and accept UCLA’s offer instead?

I must ask what @ocnative asked. Why, @AprilZeb‌

I’d turn down UCLA for UC Berkeley’s business program in a second if I were majoring in business, but that’s just me.

@AprilZeb
Good, I am appealing my decision and I hope to get that spot.

For those accepted…

Looking forward to meeting everyone this upcoming Fall!

@Cayton, looks like you are still active on these boards! :-c

@FinanceWiz‌

I’ll be active for at least another few years. You can count on it.

Gotta help future applicants and stuff. :D

Got accepted with a 3.57 total :slight_smile:

I feel like crap for not applying. I was afraid I would have to retake my accounting courses and never got an answer so I said screw it and applied/got accepted for Econ. I guess it wasn’t meant to be.

Hey to all those who transferred in, I have a question,

What is principles of business exactly? I am from a four year private school and they don’t have a course that’s generically called principles of business so I’m not sure if I fulfilled that requirement for Haas.

Also, I am interested in doing both neuroscience and business but at the end of the day, my immediate interest in going into consulting and long term is to eventually get a JD/MBA. So since my target is law and business school in the future, do you think I won’t be missing out on much by not getting a bachelor’s at Haas (since I’ll eventually go for that MBA anyway)? I currently have a 3.78 and I think I will have a much better shot at Letters and Sciences.

Also, can you minor in business at Cal?
