Who's applying to McGill BCom - is it ur top choice? if so, Why?

i applied to every course related to business, everywhere.
but if i get accpeted, ill defitnely go to mcgill cuz of its name, city and friends.

because of its reputation…but i wish their facilities were newer and had more of a close campus community (or is it actually like that already?)

i think the mcgill management is actually one of its worse programs. You can find better management programs in Canada actually (such as Ivey, Queens, Schulich and Rotman’s, in that order).

the management faculty is located in this building called Bronfman. So it is going to be highschool all over again (we call it the Bronfman High).

i havnt been to high school btw. wat is it like?

i know that their are better programs, but im going to mcgill for the reasons stated above.
but, i think ill hav a choice with UofT and McGill, which one should i choose and why? please answer econgrad and thanks

anyone else applying for the Bcomm program

anyone else applying for the Bcomm program

I am! but as my second choice.

Pros:
-International atmosphere: as the world becomes more and more connected through advances in communication and transportation, a focus on the global scale (+ associated knowledge) is a crucial skill for any future graduate. Emerging markets across the globe are becoming much more important than the traditional North Am./Euro mix and employers recognize this fact.
-Honors program is pretty amazing, and from what I heard, if you do well, you WILL get an internship.

Cons:
Quebec doesn’t give McGill enough money.
It’s not Wharton.

ok thanks for replying. but, i heard the honours is crazy hard.

im thinking of i should do them, they will help me but will lower my GDP considerbly (not good for grad school)
wat do u think
