Who's Applying Where

AHAHAHA WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT. xD It’s just that my first choice’s Andover and…I’m 99.99% sure I’ll get rejected. It’s worth a try though, I love that place ;_;

This thread is a self-esteem lower-errr. But I’m sure you guys will all get in. From what I know you’re all pretty schnazzy people :)

yeah, just count on yourselfs. Who knows, you probably will get accepted. These aren’t like SAT stuff, where they just look at all the crap you’ve got written down, and see if you PASSED or NOT.
they actually read your stuff, find your personality, and see if you fit the best. It doesn’t really matter if you get an 3% on you SSAT (actually it does), but they just look at your side.

…or do they? :-|

psh my first choices are the least selective :wink: . they’re my first choices for a reason. ha jk my favs just happen to be not be having 19% acceptance rate. (grammar check anyone? lol)

St. Paul???

or Exeter???

I’m only applying to Andover, Exeter, and Middlesex. Really competetive, I’ll probably get rejected by all, especially with my test scores.

If you’re an overall solid citizen and student, you should apply to a few schools with SSAT percentile averages 10 points below your actuals. Your reaches s/b inline to slightly above your SSAT scores, and March 10 likely won’t be too traumatic. All this assumes you have no sports, performing arts, or other hooks.

So you’re saying that if an applicant has a higher SSAT than the school’s average, they can get in?

Probably…

Exeter, Andover, Hotchkiss,SPS…

Same here, only I also applied to some “backup” schools…
