Who's pumped for Fall semester?! :D

I’m very excited, I’ve already packed up my different backpacks. I found a good deal on some vintage Jansport backpacks, so, I have one for my Mon/Weds classes and one for my Tues/Thurs classes. They’re all ready to go. I’ve read the first 5 or 6 chapters for most of the subjects I’m taking. Can’t wait to get started!

^You have multiple backpacks?

…Is that a normal thing that people do?!

I have several backpacks, but I don’t ever use all of them unless it’s move-in/move-out. I just have my regular backpack, my small one that was a Christmas present, some tote bags, and my laptop bag for everyday use.

Ya, I have a few as well. My northface for everyday. Ll bean laptop one. Black ll bean that I probably won’t take. And a weekend/ nature pack. I will probably just take them all to move in. But will only use the first one and have my mom take The rest back.

My biology class has 3 books required, by the time I toss those in and a couple notebooks it’s pretty much full as those books are huge. It’s a pain in the butt to take everything I need for that class out so that my chem books and supplies fit in there, plus once you start unpacking and repacking your backpack for each class there’s too much risk of forgetting to bring something. Easier to just have separate backpacks for those multi-book lecture/lab classes.
But, that’s what works for me. My biggest concern was not forgetting chem and bio stuff. My 3 other classes I don’t even bother with a backpack, just a zipper binder and the book.

I am super pumped for college! I guess it’s just the idea that i’m finally going to be on my own that excites me…and being able to take a variety of classes.

Excited for:

 • Social life continuing to improve
 • Rooming with people that I actually like this time.
 • Seeing how well 3 years of Spanish and teaching myself Multivariable Calculus this summer pays off for my Spanish 101 and Multivariable Calculus courses.
 • Getting back to the gym. My fat ass has been home for 3 months and went to the gym a total of 3 times. I know I gained a couple of pounds.

Dreading:

 • Academics; I know weeks into school I’m going to wish I was still on break.
 • Seeing certain people at my school.

I’m cautiously optimistic =D I’m finally back to full schedule (would have had another class but my community college has an 18 unit limit, I had 19). I’m taking Chinese, which I hope will be fun.

I dunno, I’m taking bland general ed stuff but with any luck I’ll do well, meet some people, and not get distracted by my hobby electronics stuff =P

i very excited lol, i move in thursday and i fly to the state tuesday.

I still have one month until Fall quarter, and I’m so bored… I can’t believe I was looking forward to a four month summer.

^Same bro… Crazy california quarter systems.

Im def ready to get back

the other day one of my friends was telling me how he had to retake his chem final in the first week of school. he was talking about how he had to study and the whole time i was cringing thinking about having to study and take exams this semester. i was just so adjusted to working 8 hours a day and then coming home and hanging with friends for another 8 hours… no stress, no worries.

but now that i’m thinking straight, I can’t wait to get back to school. that part of the year is bursting with opportunities to build and create your life to however you desire. there are so many people and experiences to learn from, and with the freedom you can really choose whichever path you like… what could be better at this time of our lives?

I’m excited! I’m taking Russian this semester and my first session is on the first day back  the course required 3 separate course material items though, totaling the cost of my textbooks for 3 other classes.

sophomore slump :(

Definitely! I’m pre-frosh, excited, anxious and nervous… but still :)
