Whos ready for october 6th...7 days left

ohh man the big day is almost here. i have studied the whole summer and my score for CR still won't improve...now i'm just sprinting and hoping to get a few more questions. anyways whos been studying like crazy???

I studied like crazy for a while (haven't done much recently), managed a few 800s here and there. Right now, I just want the exam asap and get it over with.

Same Here!

I'm not ready at all, but here it comes! I haven't had the time to take practice tests, so I've just been doing a few sample problems here and there. Hopefully my brain stamina stays with me for the whole 4 hours.

Ive been playing football everyday for the past two months. no freaking way am i ready.

Studied quite a bit, so I feel pretty prepared.

I'm in panic. 6 days left, scores did not improve at all,
occasionally practice test results are even worse than
my best test result.

ipam45, what are you getting on CR?

CR: like around 590-650 occasionally a little higher but rarely
Math: 720-750 consistantly
W: the MC part about the same as CR but my essay writing blows so it depends. i might be about to get around 650 and higher if i;m lucky

i;m pretty pysched about the test...feeling pretty good and can't wait. i;m gonna study CR and W all day, other than the time that i;m online right now and some aim and little World in Conflict and maybe some halo 3 later, but other than that...i;ll be studying the whole day.

I'm just gonna take practice tests and hope for a 110 pt increase :P

I spent my whole summer doing nothing, and now im trying to learn the 800 SAT words in 5 days. Im such a lazy ass. Even for my AP exams, i desperately cramed everything in my poor little brain just the nights before. But the surprising part is that i got only 4, 5s on them:) Hope this kind of miracle happens with the SAT too....

hell i;m gonna need a miracle just to survive my mom after the test is over...if do bad.

I haven't studied much. But I'm a junior, and this will be my first time...so I'm not going to really worry about it.

Prepping everyday since June. Took a Kaplan Prep Course, Finished Barrons Math workbook, Finished Barrons Reading and Writing Workbooks, Finished 1 sat vocab book, and all the vocab stuff from my kaplan prep course.(500 new words learned), Finished 7 Blue Book practice tests, finished princeton review sat book, kaplan 2400 book. Right now after taking a few recent practice tests, my math scores are not so hot, my critical reading iam still continuing to mess 7 questions per section. Before my sentence completion q's i only missed about 3 in the whole test, now iam missing about 3 per section =( And for the LOVE OF GOD I CAN'T SEEM TO GET ANY IDENTIFYING SENTENCE ERROR QUESTIONS RIGHT! yet miss only 3 improving sentence questions in the whole test. Wish i had brains like the cc kids who prep for 1 month and make 2200's

may god have mercy on my soul on test day.

Only four days here due to time difference, but I am still not prepared. I hope I can do better than I did last time, that's all!

Take it easy and you'll do fine. Even if you screw up, you're probably still going to college (that's all that matter, at least for me).

ugh, every writing question i miss is of "medium" difficulty. i get all of the hard ones correct, but for some reason i just CANNOT do the medium ones.

and they always involve a "no error" in some way. either i put no error, and there is an error, or i put that there is an error, and there is no error.

hopefully i can fix this within the next 72ish hours.

idontwanttoretakeindecember.

I'm not too nervous this time around. My scores on practice exams are very good, so I'm confident that this'll be my last attempt.

don't we all envy the people that doesn't study and get high 2200s, and then they study a lil and get like 2300+.

I got back my ACT score yesterday, it is not as high as I wanted it to be (33), but I feel it would be really hard for me to beat the similar score in the SAT.
Oh well, this is going to be my last time taking the SATs no matter what I get.

So once I am done.. bye bye SATs for ever. I hate you for making my hs years boring and more stressful then it needs to be.. GRR

good luck everyone
