Why 31-35?

After looking at some ivy league statistics, I noticed that all of of the schools had 31-35 as what students had for their ACT scores. Why is 36 not included in the score range? Do they tend to not accept 36s for some reason?
I did a quick google, but didn't find anything. Sorry if this is common knowledge.

31 - 35 is the 25th to 75th PENCENTILE.

As in, the middle 50% of students had those scores.

Because 36 is a bad score. No school wants someone who got a 36!
