I can't think of any logical reason for them to be delayed. I took a subject test I had never taken before, so there couldn't be any jump in scores. I took them at the same time as everyone else, at a test center in California where I've never had any trouble before. What could be causing them to be delayed? How soon should I expect them?

Will this affect the sending of my scores? Because I had signed up for all my scores to be attached to this one and sent to the colleges I'm applying to, but the deadline for some is the end of this month. What should I do??

Check Again, i already got my SAT scores. And i have to say I am extremely sad because I got 1300, I think my dream of attending Stanford or UC Berkeley is over.

Same thing happened to me in October. E-mail admission counselors from the schools who need your SAT scores soon and tell them what happened. Usually, they will understand (this happens more than it ought to) and will give you an extension. Then you have to call the College Board. They will most likely tell you, as they told me, that they can get back to you in 5-7 business days and tell you what’s going on with your scores. That doesn’t mean they will GIVE you your scores in 5-7 business days; they’ll just tell you where they are.
Listen to me and listen well: Do not take that crap.
Tell them that you need those scores NOW, that your college admissions, scholarship deadline, etc, depends on it. They’ll tell you that they’ve moved you up to top priority, which is 1-2 business days. No. Don’t take that either. Stay on the phone and bug them for as long as you can, then send them a very angry e-mail.
If all goes well, you will get your scores the next day.
That was more or less my October experience, anyways. They never did tell me what the delay was about, though. I accused them of trying to make me buy a rush score report and promptly told them that I wasn’t buying into that crap.

Remember- the College Board exists to profit from the destroyed hopes and dreams of adolescents like yourself. Have a good day.

Thank you for the great advice, but I won’t need it after all - my scores just came in! Looks like my 24 hours of freaking out, calling the collegeboard, and emailing my counselor weren’t necessary after all. So glad my relationship with the collegeboard is over.
