Why are SO many people praising Kaplan's SAT prep book 2007 edition?

what about Kaplan SAT 2008 Comprehensive Program?

Is it a lot different from 2007 edition?

I really doubt it. After checking Amazon there is about a 10 page difference (the 2008 has about 10 more pages). So I doubt the overall content is much different. If anything, it's better.

so the Kaplan is good for Writing since it gives common mistakes for each of the topics in writing?

please answer that for me and i wanna make myself clear

thx

Does anyone know how this compares to the Kaplan 2400?

To jsmith, yes it is very good and covers 90% of the potential errors on every test. The rest is just practice and repitition. Kaplan 2400 is a stratagy book. It has only the hardest questions but no practice tests. If you want hard questions (and your score is currently quite high) then I'm sure it could help (or Barron's, which I've heard is good too)
