Kaplan 2400...a big joke?

<p>I just spent an entire month reviewing for this upcoming weekend's SAT out of this book! I thought it was helping me improve (I'm only reading their math sections b/c that's what I need to get up), until I took a blue book (the official college board book) practice test today...my math didn't go up very much. Is Kaplan too easy? Or was it just that the math in this speficic practice test I took was hard?</p>

<p>Has Kaplan 2400 helped anyone else? Please tell me that my hours of effort weren't for nothing...</p>

<p>no its a worthless book, haven't you seen the reviews on amazon? I have it, and its really terrible. I really kick myself for not buying barrons2400 which has a wealth of information.</p>

<p>I haven't used Kaplan but have heard that Gruber's is good for math.</p>

<p>no i didn't see the amazon reviews...i got it because my friend is taking the kaplan class, and she raised her score dramatically. i just used the books they used and self-studied.</p>

<p>I have the Kaplan Premiere Course Book and compared to Blue Book the tests are really hard.</p>
