The majority of acceptances are sent out in the last wave, right? Yes, rejections too, but those of us who haven't heard a decision shouldn't be giving up hope

Okay, I am a hypocrite who is freaking out a lot :)

Okay, I am a hypocrite who is freaking out a lot :)

Haha I am freaking out a bit. But, I am trying to have confidence in my own applicaton and myself as an applicant. I hope we all get in. If only the admissions process were so lenient. Best of luck to all of us. The waiting time is just terrible. Anxiety is really rising in me and confidence is trying to remain the same.

Go Trojans!

I think that some of us are worried b/c their stats are higher than those people who have already been accepted; makes you wonder about weaknesses in your application you may not even be aware of........

Also makes you question your other apps.....

srabiee90, I agree completely! We all just need to stay positive.

seriously.....majority of acceptances means half of 7600....thats 3800!! 3800!! How can anyone with fairly decent stats slip into panic mode knowing there are that many acceptances still left.

Because there's only one more chance to get in.

Wait, how do we know there are 3800 left? Someone mentioned someone else posting it... which thread is that in?

Southernbelle08's thread; she spoke with an admissions counselor and they told her that.

Why is everyone worried?????

'Cuz they want to get in!!! No other school compared in my daughter's case.

Thanks acarey! :)

Oh, I want to get in too, believe me! But I just wanted to help the other worriers like me stay cool by keeping things in perspective.

no prob cheerchick, and good luck!

thanks acarey! i have been freaking out about this...i've cried too many times over it hahaha
makes me feel a bit relieved.
agh, i hope we all get in! we've been stressing out about this for too long!

I don't know anyone who has heard from the School of Theatre yet. They only take 18-20 freshman for the BFA acting program. Does anyone know when they decide?

oh god im going crazy for USC to finally mail me too.
they've been, supposedly, "reviewing" my application since mid-feb!
i havent gotten anything at all... :(

My heart so goes out to all of you. All I can say is try not to think about it. That worked for me for a couple days. Good luck!!!!

I have low stats but I've been contacting my admission counselor. He never replies which is very understandable. Have you ever heard of anyone with low stats being liked by a committe so much that they were admited

No, you cannot raise the dead.

ivyleaguer7890: what have you been saying to your admissions counselor? what are you contacting him about?

I, for one, will not be placated by your sinister reverse psychology!

lol. jk. USC isnt even really one of my top choices. (no flame please)
