Why aren't we allowed to post links?

I have compiled a list of SAT Subject test guides- outlines, study tips,..etc,
And I want one thread to be stickied, and in that thread I will put the links to the individual SAT/ AP subject test thread.

I found out that this doesn't comply with the TOS.

Help?!

Also, [Community & Forum Issues](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/community-forum-issues/) is probably a better place for this. You could also try messaging a mod.

Thank you. I was afraid that the Community & Forum Issues wouldn’t receive much traffic.

You’re allowed to post links.

Just not youtube, facebook, etc. links.

Stickying is a different matter

I think the explanation for the rule is silly. If the links are malicious or obscene, people should be able to use the report feature located in the bottom-right corner of a post. That’s how it works for another forum I’m on. I should have the right to post my links FREELY.

^

Yes, you should be able to do whatever you want on YOUR website. Is this your website? No. If you’re upset about this, how about you make your own forum? Maybe the Pizza Palace to discuss all things pizza and where you post links FREELY?

^ Someone needs to change their tampon. It’s called a suggestion and opinion. Chill out.

And my point is that users can report posts with malicious or obscene links. That just nullifies the reason that mods would have to go through and check every single link.
