Why Chapman?

For me, it’s the major. It was a difficult decision. I had to turn down better ranked schools.

edthegurl, I’ll ask my son the name of the prof, but here is the problem with that. When you go to register, many (maybe all) of the sections of Visual Storytelling will be listed as being taught by “Staff”. So, you don’t know who you are getting…which really stinks.

Sorry if this is really random, but the name of this thread makes this story fit kinda…
I visited USC’s film school yesterday, and visited Chapman last week.
USC was EXTREMELY disappointing in my opinion compared to Chapman. Chapman’s production facilities look newer, nicer, and give students more access to the stages, editing etc.
Just wanted to put that out there :)

That is very kind of you, socal!

^
Haha yup. Not trying to bash USC (I still love it…my room is pretty much cardinal and gold) but I think its important to know that just because Chapman is a lesser known school, its facilities are top notch :)

When I went to USC I mostly loved it for the cafeteria. Their food was soooo good.
The campus was pretty too, but I didn’t get to see inside the film school.
However, Chapman still rocks.
