With the cutbacks that are being imposed on UCLA students and their parents and TUITION going up every year, WHY the #!*^&^T@#%#$% was the ENTIRE UCLA FOOTBALL TEAM staying at the very expensive Pasadena Langham Hotel before the USC / UCLA game last night???? They needed an extra special massage or something??? Who OK'd this waste of taxpayer $$$???

It’s not taxpayer money.

**** off, trOJan. Take your trolling elsewhere

…

I’m never on this forum so I could be wrong about UCLA, but I know that with other schools’ football programs they bring in loads of $$$ and help fund other things around campus as opposed to costing money.

I thought the question was the introduction to a riddle.

Forget the hotel - that was likely to help them focus on the situation at hand.

How about those hi-octane uniforms? Sure glad they wore those. It definately pumped them up.

I wished they burned the uniforms at half time. Whoever told them to wear white should be fired.

And yes, football actually brings A LOT of money to the school (Alumni donations/tickets/etc), though probably not as much lately because we have been terrible.

It’s not taxpayer money you Trojan. UCLA Athletics doesn’t receive funding from the state and operates as a separate entity from academics. Money comes from ticket sales, merchandise sales, alumni donations, and sponsorships.

Why do you know where they stayed that night…
