<p>I played violin for a year, but i quit because i thought it squeaked too much. At the time, i was the obsessed with spongebob sqaurepants, and i wanted to play clarinet because squidward did XD. I dont know why i did this, because the clarinet squeaks, too...</p>

<p>We picked instruments at the end of our fourth grade year–it’s basically the highlight of the year. I remember being fond of the tenor saxophone, but I had my heart set on the horn. I wanted to be different and awesome, and the guy running the instrument fitting said they always needed more horn players. My mom quickly discouraged me from this (she said she didn’t want to hear me murdering the instrument every night). Instead, she pointed me in the direction of the euphonium or the tuba (my brother played the tuba, so she was more used to the sound, and we wouldn’t have to buy an instrument). I went along with it, because my teacher needed low brass, and I was a total suck up. Since no one else wanted to play tuba, I got the job. I’m thankful everyday that I didn’t pick up the horn instead. :P</p>
