I am looking at C of C for my son. I love the Charleston location, the price is right, I like the variety of majors and I hear good things about Jewish life at C of C. My only nagging doubt is the low graduation rate. I recently read a statistic that 28% of kids who start as freshman at C of C transfer out. If you, or your child, or someone you know has transferred out - would you share the reason why? I have heard it might be OOS kids transferring to an in-state school to save money, but since less than half of the sstudents are OOS, I'm not sure if that is the whole reason or just a piece of the puzzle. Any input is appreciated.
