Do anyone know about good colleges and universities in countries other than the US and UK (most probably in europe) that provide good financial aid for intnl students????

European colleges (UK included) generally don’t give financial aid to international undergraduate students. On the other hand, some European countries charge very low tuition fees to begin with. German and Swiss universities, for example, charge between $100 and $800 for tuition per semester. That includes ETH Zurich, arguably one of the best universities in the world!

^^ well does ETH has any of its Engineering programs taught in English? Stupid Question, I know, But I just had to ask.

Plus speaking of Europe and America, doesnt Australia have any good Universities for Internationals? I mean which give out substantial aid as well?

The only one I know of is Jacobs University Bremen,Germany www.jacobs-university

The only one I know of is Jacobs University Bremen,Germany [Inspiration is a Place | Jacobs University](http://www.jacobs-university.de)

@macmill: thanks for the info…heard its one of the best there

@barium: Thanks for that and I have the same question too that do they offer programs in english or ???and if you know, can you tell me is it hard to get in those countries you mentioned???

and can you guys give some kind of insight on Australian universities? I have seen people go there for Grad studies, but undergrad, None I know of, so I have had this question for a while.

All of ETH’s undergraduate programs are taught in German, but some of their Master’s programs are in English.

Just to clarify: when I made statements about European universities earlier, I meant public European universities. Europe doesn’t have many private colleges, probably because public education is nearly free. Jacobs, for example, is the only semi-prestigious private university in Germany, and it actually follows an American-style curriculum (with general education classes) rather than a German-style curriculum (with early specialization).

too bad, learning germany along with the course line seems like a tough job to do.
