<p>I've read many times on this board that a BA in econ is different from a BS from Wharton。</p>
<p>But,wheneverIread about a dual degree econ BA and econ BS, everyone says thats a dumb choice because they are too similar。</p>
<p>So whats the real story here?</p>
<p>It’s different because one is from the College and one is from Wharton. The things you learn will definitely be different</p>
<p>It’s a dumb choice because most people are not aware of this difference. An employer for instance would not understand why you would do two degrees that, on paper, looks redundant</p>

<p>As for employers,wouldn’t econ grad schools and BB’s (what I am looking at going into) know the difference between econ and business (especially a degree from Wharton)?</p>
