For non auto people who got their acceptances before the usual time…how come it seems as if not one person has been rejected. Compared to the ED/EA results from other schools, I’ve def. seen rejections/deferrals but it seems like everyone who applied to tamu or ut has gotten in already.
Texas residents are not rejected from UT. They are offered CAP or PACE. OOS residents will get rejection notices by March 1. Last year, they were told on February 20.
Reading the forum from last year, people who were declined admissions, offered PACE and CAP, etc., were notified about the same time as the last big wave of admissions came out, the third week of February.
So this wave is basically make or break?
No one knows. All we know is what happened last year and that the UT Twitter says all decisions (except international) will be announced by March 1.
@schoolisfunforme You will have a decision within 3 weeks from today. So will my son. Will admissions come out all at once on a particular day or creep out a little day by day, no one knows. I was merely addressing why no one has heard of any declined admissions and when those came last year. Declined admissions or alternative enrollments, do not seem to trickle out or come in waves like admissions do, but seem to come all at the same time.
