Why doesn't penn have the "weeks per year" option?

<p>Since I sent an activity list. I specified the weeks per year there. It's funny because when I was listing Boys' State I put 100+ hours per week. But, I'm sure they know that the program last for a week. lol.</p>

<p>Yeah that was troublesome for me. Did you put how many hours per week on average during the period in which the activity lasted or over the whole year. For example you do thirty hours of community service over ten weeks, would you put 3 hours per week or 3/5 of an hour per week. I think its the three hours per week. Any thoughts?</p>

<p>dang, my activity profile doesn't specify it cause i thought all schools would have the weeks per year option like on common app...</p>

<p>oh i found a way around this. Penn gives you a super long line to write what the activity is.. so i just put </p>

<p>"blah blah blah" - summer volunteer only</p>

<p>But they won't see the entire line... that's why the "Make sure it appears right in the PDF" box comes up.</p>

<p>You are referring to the online app right?</p>

<p>But they do see everything you write, in both the online app version and the pdf version. I had to e-mail the tech support about this because some of my stuff I had typed on the application wouldn't show up on the pdf. They said the admissions committee reviews both versions.</p>
