if you look at the "Alphabetic List of Colleges" here at CC, you'll find that schools like Emory, Vanderbilt, WUSTL, UMich, UVA, Notre Dame all has a special link that differentiates them from others (a link to top CC universities)...I mean Wake Forest is pretty damn close, academically with Emory and Vandy (or maybe just close to Emory)...so why don't we have our own link?? what are the criteria to achieve such thing anyway?

ranking i think

in terms of ranking, we are number 28 by US News…and UMich is 27 and they got the link…also UNC-Chapel Hill is tied with us at 28…and they still got the link

so i don’t really think it’s ranking…

The posters on the USC thread, which is one of the most active, and a highly ranked school, have been asking this for a long time. Why would a school like Claremont McKenna, which is a great school but gets about 6 posts/year, have a direct connect instead of USC or WF? I guess that is just the way it was created, and it is too much trouble to revamp it.

^ seriously??? 6 posts/year? how do you know that? did they average it or something?..i think we should bring a mod into this one

6 posts/year was an exaggeration, but if you check the site, you will see they get few posts.

Ranking + board activity I would guess. Also, CC probably doesn’t want to change anything because then it will just make schools that still aren’t included angrier.
