How would you go about approaching these if you only have 150 words? Any suggestions with researching, developing content, and the thought process into how to craft a solid essay in just 150 words.

Make a list of the things that best describe you, that you like to do, and that possibly define you. In other words, who are you? If someone were describing you, what would they say? What parts of this are NOT reflected in the rest of your application. This is the way to get them in there.
So if you’re pretty social and someone who cares about other people and you spend 3 afternoons a week babysitting, you may be able to use that as the basis for a story. DS’ school suggested writing an essay for each of the prompts and then seeing which was the strongest and if there were elements in any of the ones not being used that felt important.
I think OP means the Why Us essays. If so, you need to know why you match.
