@prad14 that happened to me one time I have tried to log in in the 3-4 times I have this past hour. Later I tried again and it still said carefully considering
Nevermind, I can log in now. Same message as before (carefully considering)

bubblytaco, sorry to hear about the rejection. If you do not mind sharing, what are your stats and which college did you apply to?
Loads of extracurriculars and leadership positions, 3.7W GPA, but a 22 ACT score. I applied to the College of education.

@bubblytaco - boo. That’s so odd and very unfortunate - wish it had been a different outcome for you. Do you have other options?
Yes, I applied to 15 other schools 
so Minnesota is just a scratch. My top contenders are Purdue, Marquette, and Illinois Wesleyan.
@bubbly - that’s great news for you. Don’t forget that a transfer into UMN is always possible as well, should you desire that later on. CLA, for instance, admits a LOT of transfer students. Much harder to get in as a first-time-in-college.
Your decision to share your efforts, stats and outcome will be of tremendous benefit to those in regular round and in future application cycles. Thank you for that - and best of luck in your continued endeavors.

Status updated yesterday at 13:00, but still haven’t heard back shxt. UMN is working slow
still haven’t changed from last update
The entire university including Admissions is closed today. Hard to believe they wouldn’t have taken care of everyone before heading out yesterday but that seems to be the case.
The office will open up tomorrow at noon.
