@JBStillFlying Thank you. My youngest just reached my oldest to tell him he got in. It’s nice to see how excited they are to be in the same city next year. And it definitely makes our logistics a whole lot easier.

I got my defer today, strange, I have gotten into much more selective schools than this one

@collegechick000 Same, I was deferred despite getting into more selective schools. I’m out of state, 3.6 GPA and 35 ACT at a rigorous, top high school with a strong upward trend in terms of grades. I applied to the CBS.
Anyone heard back today? Still have had the same message for months now.
My daughter (OSS CA) just got accepted! so it just goes to show that it’s not all defers at this time!

Did you receive an email with an update to portal?
Has anyone who has been admitted to UMTC gotten any correspondence from them? My son was admitted January 19, according to the portal, but there has been zero e-mails nor snail mail from them.
It takes a couple of weeks minimum to get the acceptance packet. And that’s during the non-busy time of year. Given that they have really stretched out those acceptances even to the present day, you might have to wait a tad longer.
My daughters portal announcement changed to just one line yesterday. She checked it last night (no e-mail) and the one line notice turned into congratulations.
Haven’t received anything from UMN, bit of frustration. Applied 10/22, international student, sat 1430, toefl 101. Engineering Program.

I can’t give you the exact time. She checked her portal first at 5;00 pm (pacific time) and saw the portal communication line had changed to just one line. She got home around 10;00 pm last night and checked her portal and it had her acceptance.
Portal changes around midnight central time. So around 10 pm PT.
I was admitted into CLA but I only listed CSE… should I call??
@BetaBaggins even though you didn’t list CLA they felt that you would best fit in that college. You can still give them a call though.
@BetaBaggins that happened to another poster recently as well. Call to clarify, but you are probably waitlisted at CSE, correct? Short of prevailing in an appeal because they made an obvious error (ie your stats are very high and in line for CSE, etc.) your admissions decision is likely to be final unless you are called off the wait list. You might ask them about likelihood of that happening.
