This doesn't happen to every UF student, but my friend's older brother was denied by every Ivy when he had a 4.0 in high school. He attended UF. He graduated from UF with a 4.0 with a double major (Physics and Chemistry I think). He was accepted into every Ivy school for Graduate school.

Hope this helps.

He could of done this at pretty much every school.

Anyone ever heard the saying “UF is a great gateway school”?

The University of Florida gets about about $600 million a year in research expenditures. UF also contributes nearly $6 billion annually to Florida’s economy, and is responsible for nearly 75,000 jobs.

That is great but you friend could have done that at any school he went.
