I think OSU already made their point when they upset Alabama and the SEC. Right now, this championship game is about two teams that have been grossly underestimated getting a chance to make history. Very few people took Oregon seriously, and very few people expected OSU to rebound so dramatically.
I live in Ohio, so the team I’m cheering for has already been decided But I’ll be happy with who wins regardless.
I am curious. If Harbaugh is such a horrible man to work with/for, why are so many of his ex-coordinators and position coaches willing to come work for him now?
@Alexandre I believe the conflict was with Baalke and the rest of the 49ers executive office, not his coordinators. Part of the rift was because Harbaugh adamantly supported Greg Roman throughout the season
The front office wanted one thing, but Harbaugh wanted another. A power struggle that escalated to the point where they couldn’t stand one another. There was an article all about this but of course I can’t find it now…
Oh well, I guess Baalke and the 49er Executive office knew best. What does a coach who went 41-15, including three trips to the NFC championship games and a Super Bowl appearance know about coaching? LOL! Michigan’s gain I suppose.
