The title says it all.
Here are some- Urban campus (right in the heart of Boston), large number of majors and minors to choose from (flexibility to take classes in different schools), much better food than most colleges (dining does a great job also of having fun programs - lobster night, chef visits, etc.), nicer housing than most colleges (for upper class and honors - IV and west village are modern), lots of research opportuniites (between strong stem programs and proximity to so many medical centers etc.), due to size of student population easy to find “your kind” to befriend, diverse clubs (some unusual ones - film club, go club, food club, etc.), great fitness center (Marino), lots of space to hang out and/or study (inside and out - quads, library, curry center, etc.), student body is very focused (because of co-op program).
NEU has a very flexible core curriculum, meaning you don’t spend your entire first 2 years doing Gen Ed Requirements, and can dive into your major or minor. Also, they have quiet a few combined majors - which are cool and interesting. NEU is very generous with AP credit also, so you can skip even more Gen Ed requirements if those are not your thing.
What about their engineering program?
Very good there as said in other threads. Kiddie’s list is a great list as well: in agreement with all of them.
