Why NOT go here?

Student 90 - so sorry that your experience has not been good. My son graduated from QU and is now receiving his Master’s from NYU and has been accepted to a competitive NYC Law School. Clearly, the school was not a good fit for you, but it is a solid university, has very good relationships between faculty and guidance staff and is a beautiful location.

student90 – to echo what others have said, I’m sorry to hear that QU isn’t a fit for you. Good of you to realize that now and transfer out before you’re further along in your studies there.

But for others who are reading… I am an alum and I had an excellent experience at the university. I loved my classes, and still keep in touch with some of my former professors.

QU strongest programs are in health sciences, communications, and business. Please do your homework and research the program(s) that you’re interested in. I think you’ll find that Quinnipiac has great academics and a top-notch internship program.

It’s not a very diverse school at all. But you’re going to find that at a lot of private schools, especially in the Northeast unfortunately.

That’s why a campus visit is so important.

And if you’re a student or parent who loves Quinnipiac… so do I. And that means you or your student will be a great fit for the school. So feel good that you found a school you can see yourself at.

Best of luck to all!
