Would appreciate feedback on East Coast colleges son is accepted to

My son was fortunate to be accepted at a number of good schools early action: Fairfield, Marist, Providence, Quinnipiac and Siena. He is waiting to hear from Loyola MD and Boston College regular decision. He will visit his top 3 or 4 choices again and will do an analysis of the pros and cons and the right "fit" for him. I've looked at the US News rankings but would love to hear other's impressions of any of these schools (what they like or didn't like about them). Certain schools are favorites in our circle of friends and I'd like a broader perspective. The end choice is his but I'll give my input.

Forgot to say that son is “undeclared” for a major but is considering psychology and marketing.

Quinnipiac is an excellent school, however, if your son doesn’t have a car, he will feel like he is out in the boonies. The campus is pretty isolated, although there are buses that run. Providence is a very good school, nice campus, great city.

Thanks Teachandmom. We have several friends with children at Providence. I’d like to keep it on the list. Son is leaning towards Marist which might be a good fit. Quinnipiac was a pleasant surprise when we visited but is only about 1 hour away. I think some people in CT underestimate Quinnipiac.
