<p>you know, that is an excellent point. if in fact i decide to opt out of BME, then i would have a bunch of other options at usc. at case, i'd probably be out of my element because they're real strong point is engineering. thanks for the insight.</p>

<p>Just got back from first trip to USC (Trustee interview)and I've gotta tell ya, that place ROCKS! I've spent my life living in Northeast myopia...USC is where NORMAL people go to school! I wondered where they all disappeared to! As for "shooting higher", consider that if you wanna go to grad school, it is easier from there than from a "higher" institution, where everyone around you will be equal or brighter brained. Also consider that USC is focused on rising in the rankings(hence buying top scoreers)and is a rising star. Watch, 5 years from now, they will make the top 10 as they intend.</p>
