Why You Don't Need To Be Ashamed Of Moving Back In With Your Parents

DS moved home after graduation for 3 months while he worked an internship and started his full time job. The commute with DH was an important time for mentoring and advice and served him very well. They discussed office politics, how to ask for more money, social situations, tone of emails, meeting etiquette, dress, business trips, etc. From a developmental viewpoint, it was what he needed to be ready to succeed in the competitive work place. It really is a culture shock for most new grads. I think it gave DS a real advantage.
I do think it is more appropriate to live on his own when he was financially able.
