<p>oh no. well, thats the thing, its a crapshoot half the time.. those are amazing stats. where do you live?</p>
<p>Let me tell you, you aren't the only one who got shafted, GGGGunit.</p>
<p>My best friend was the valedictorian, 1500+ SAT, 2300+ SATII, student body president, tennis captain, community service machine, and two years above the standard in math. When she applied early to Stanford, she got flat-out denied. One of the big reasons I decided to attend Cal instead of Stanford; their admissions are...iffy...</p>
<p>Ultimately, there is no real reason why you were denied, GGGGunit. The Stanford admissions system is especially notorious for cases like yourself. Just realize that just because Stanford rejected you, it doesn't mean that you weren't good enough to get in. I'm willing to bet dollars to pesos you'd do better than some of those happy people that got in.</p>
<p>You don't want to go there anyways. Have you seen their football team? It's like poking your eyes with toothpicks.</p>
<p>Watch out people that havent recieved decisions yet... if theres no big envelope in your mailbox tomorrow your screwed.</p>

<p>Some kid called Columbia's Admissions Office and the person who read his app told him why he was rejected. Tomorrow, im trying the same thing with the Stanford Office. Some reason i dont think it will work...</p>
<p>Please tell me the results, I might consider the same thing...
Also, is there any way that you can call to confirm to the decision- I know its wishful thinking to hope for some kind of mistake, but at least its wishful...</p>

<p>If I were in their shoes, I'd call too -- if you can get any useful information, it might help you with your other apps....</p>
<p>With 4330 apps I doubt they remember/wrote it down...but worth a shot no doubt.</p>
<p>Of course they won't remember you by name, but they do make notes on your file as they evaluate it. It you can talk to the regional director in charge of your school, you might get some interesting info :)</p>
