^ lol I actually like that song.

Oh .

Don't worry I got rather strange taste for music. I blast stuff like Paul Van Dyk when I'm driving.

You're a fan of Cherry's aren't you? (the male creature that sprawls the board)

Perhaps.

^ ahahaha :P

because to be feared is no better. i probably took the translation of it too literally however though, so stop me if i'm wrong. still, both fear and love can present problems and pain, but they can also add good and harmony to your life.

"I like to think of it as this ... I just don't have the ability to love right now. Only to like I would say. But not to love. Perhaps it will change when I get older, but right now I like things the way they are."

personally i always liked to stick with the thought that everyones capable of love.

who knows, maybe it's just the person your with that makes it only " like" and not love. lol

although then again they do say that it comes with time, so who cares

yay I'm glad this post inspired such conversation! I would have to agree that I thing fear and love can exist at the same time. Horses, for example. I love horses passionately---I would devote my life to working with them if it made any money and if I were better at it, but when I'm around them, even the ones I'm most comfortable around, there's always a slight edge of fear. They could step on your feet, not out of visciousness, but just ignorance (that your feet are where they plan on putting theirs), they could get scared of something and freak out (which would in turn put you at risk of being kicked/tranpled/things of that nature). With horses there are many opportunities to be greatly injured (I broke my back riding), sometimes even killed, but there is so much love for it that they can live in balance.

That is, of course, if we are speaking of love in general, and not specifically and exclusivley intimate, romantic love.

Eh, I still choose fear over love. :P

and i still choose to have a healthy amount of both

Why can't intimate, romantic love exist with fear? Do you think that it could not also exist with hatred?

I think that intimate romantic love can exist with some fear--I mean, there is always the fear of losing that love, but not with too much. I think that love can not exist with hatred. Lust can exist with hatred, but not love. If you think you love and hate someone, one of those must be a lie, and eventually it will show through.

^^^ Observe post above.... ok observe post topic ---> Why's the board so quiet??

I love to hate and I hate to love.
