Currently i have a 3.79 GPA and I am looking to apply to Pre-Med programs. I am in the final quarter of the school year and by calculation it is impossible for me to pull my grade up to the bare minimum to get a A- (which is an 89.5). I have been getting B's for the previous two quarters and my highest grade can only be an 88 even if I got 100's for the rest of the year. On the transcript that my school sends to colleges, they only show the final grade. I am really worried as to how this will affect me next year regarding college applications. I also got a B in Honors Biology in freshman year and got a A- in Chemistry sophmore year. In addition, my SAT score was 660 CR, 790 M, and 680 W.

A lot obviously depends on where you’re applying, but even then a few B’s won’t hurt you- colleges would rather see consistently strong academics, good SATs, strong ECs, etc.
