I’m projected to get a 4.4 this first semester for senior year which will boost my overall 10-12, but I am worried because I got a C in AP Environmental Science. I took 5 classes all weighted. I am wondering how much a C will change my chances in UCs compared to still having a 4.4 but instead of one C, one B, and 3 As, having 3 Bs and 2 As.
A C looks a lot worse than 2 B’s, even though they’re the same GPA-wise. It’s because a B shows that you’re still above average, while Cs show you may or may not understand the material.
