I'm going to state outright that I did horribly on the AP Spanish exam. I know that I could've done better, but with all of the chaos going on during testing (bells ringing along with phones, not knowing how to work the tape recorders, and having to talk over the sounds of the other students in the room during the speaking portion) and my general lack of enthusiasm that morning, I have to say I am predicting a 1 or 2.
Now that I have admitted that, I'd like to know if a mid-high SAT II score will make Adcoms disregard my AP score. You see, I pulled off straight A's in that class, and I'd hate them to think there was a lot of grade inflation going on. I want to prove that I know the material.
Will my receiving a 750-800 on the SAT II do just that, or will it make me look inconsistent?

AP scores are self-reported and not considered in admissions. SAT II scores are considered in admissions.

If it's too mismatched, it might look odd, so you might not wish to report the AP score.

You're assuming that you can receive a 750-800 on the SATII.

They're really hard, trust me. Plus, percentiles must be screwed up a lot for that test since there are so many people who speak Spanish fluently. And they only have to pay a little to take this test, not to mention they don't have to sit through a class to take it either.

But if you study really hard go for it.
