Hi everyone, I have a quick question.
I studied a TON, took the September ACT (it was my 3rd attempt), and got a composite score of 35. However, my writing score could’ve been better. I got an 8, which I know is by no means a bad score, but it’s just not up to par with my other subject scores.
As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I’m applying to an ultra-selective school for EA. I contacted ACT but they can’t cancel the writing score without canceling the entire test. Will this count against me?
I know I’m probably worrying about nothing, but I’m in the middle of application season and I’m doing my best to get everything together and put together an application I can proudly submit.
Thanks!!
P.S. – for anyone considering taking ACT writing, I would totally not recommend it unless the college you’re applying to requires it
