I am wondering whether or not to check the box that indicates that I'm applying for financial aid. I am an int'l student.

Perhaps someone can clarify this who knows for sure— I thought internationals were not eligible for financial aid (but they could get merit aid).

never mind! yeah intl students are not eligible for financial aid. and im not gonna apply for merit aid.

kthxbye.

"An undergraduate, International Student is ineligible to receive any federal or state student financial aid. Additionally, Carnegie Mellon does not award any institutional financial aid funds to undergraduate International Students. "

I agree with busdriver I do not believe international students qualify for financial aid so you should not check the box.
