I'm going to apply to M&T Fisher Program, and it allows me for a secondary school choice. I chose SEAS.

My question is: how does the admission of dual degree programs work? If applicants didn't get into the primary dual degree program choice, will they be viewed equally with other applicants that choose their secondary school choice as primary school choice?

I know that on M&T website they said that it's not going to hurt you, but I just want to make sure. Is there any one that apply to a dual degree program and then get accepted by his/her secondary school choice? Any response would be appreciated!

I also don’t think it does, from the people I’ve spoken to. If anything, it signals that you have high aspirations and a wide range of interests. I know a few people who were accepted in to their secondary schools, but were not accepted into M&T. Best of luck!

I don’t think applying to M&T and listing SEAS as a second choice will hurt in you in any way. One of my close friends who applied early was rejected from M&T, but accepted into CS @ Penn Engineering. Best of luck!
