Will bad AP scores hurt my chances?

I think I did pretty bad this year...I'm expecting a 2/3 on ab calc, a 3/4 on eng language and....i'd rather not even talk about us history (taking it tomorrow... T_T)

If I get the worst on all of these, will it hurt my chances of getting into a school like..say, JHU? Or do AP grades only contribute to credits? FYI, I got a 4 in bio last year.

berkeley does, most others do not really

and if u did good, it will help

but they said ap scores dont affect college admissions ...
hyperventilates

Like I said on the other thread, nobodyjay, my S got a 2 on the APUSH (badly run class, almost no one did well). He's at Columbia now. Please don't hyperventilate! :)

No, they will not hurt. Colleges don't see your AP scores unless they're listed on you transcript. They'll only see the scores when you try to get college credit. Plus, if you think you really did that badly, then cancel the score. Hey, Calc AB seemed kinda suspiciously easy. I'm sure you did fine.

i sent all of my scores to william and mary last year (out of state). 5 apush, 3 microecon, 2 macroecon, still got in.

they have little to no impact on college admissions.

whew Wish i knew this before this week! I wouldn't have freaking stressed so much about it :P

thanks for the replies!
