<p>I want to stay instate and go to a university. I know my SAT scores,gpa etc. will matter but im not there yet.if i l play soccer and lacrosse for my freshman,sophmore, jr,and sr year will that look good enough?Or should i consider and extra club too like the leo club</p>

<p>It’s not about how many extra curriculars you do, or even which ones you pick. It’s about what you do in those you do pick. So there’s no need to join some random club just for the sake of joining, but if you’re genuinely interested, do join. </p>
<p>But if you’re not genuinely interested in this club, don’t join. Instead, focus on what you might do in your current sports to beef up those ECs. For example, develop and run a fundraiser, or organize the team in doing some community service with a local group, or volunteer to help coach your sport with the Y or the Boys and Girls Club, etc. Try to do more in what you already do. </p>
