Will Colleges Accept Late Scores?

Hi, I’m applying to NYU on Early Decision, the application is due on Nov 1. I just realized I haven’t sent my AP scores (NYU require some sort of scores, SAT/ACT/3 APs) and I just ordered the rush score right now. Will they accept my score if it arrives a couple days late?

And also, how do I submit 3 AP scores while only option to send score is through CollegeBoard and they send all my AP scores? I have a quite unpleasant score so…

Contact the admissions office at NYU to ask if they will accept the late score. Also ask if you can self-report the AP scores rather than send them at this time.

NYU https://www.nyu.edu/admissions/undergraduate-admissions/questions/admissions-updates.html#testing
“ Accordingly, while the University still welcomes those applying to be members of the Class of 2025 to submit test scores in line with our policy, we will not require it. If you do not submit test scores, you will not be disadvantaged during the application review process this year. ”

College Board - AP https://apstudents.collegeboard.org/score-reporting-services/withhold-scores
“ You can request that the AP Program withhold one or more AP Exam scores from any college or scholarship program that you chose as a score recipient. The score will be withheld from any future score reports sent to that college or scholarship program.”

When my daughter applied ED a couple of years ago, they had up to 2 weeks after the application closing date to submit supporting materials. It’s worthwhile checking if that still stands, if it is not stated somewhere on your application portal.
