@obama6464 I think you shouldn’t worry about this till you see where you get accepted. The grade is there & you can’t change it. Just try your best to get that A this semester, and when acceptances start rolling in, deal with each school individually. Don’t stress over something you can’t fix at the moment, it’s not good for you. Keep working hard, that’s all.

Thanks guys! This is very much appreciated!

Have you checked whether your safeties are prone to rescinding admission due to a D in your senior year course work?

@ucbalumnus As long as I’m not failing miserably, I’ll be fine.

Thanks for the (non-sarcastic) responses! I know there’s probably more people in this same situation that are just reading everything here.

Geo, one of mine got a D in a subject that didn’t matter as much to her intended major- after ED to a highly ranked LAC. It was going to show up on her 1st sem grades. The GC did her part in explaining and my D was also in contact with the adcom. They asked for a mid 2nd semester progress report. It worked out. But this was not Calif, with its requirements or stated expectations. We felt it was very important that the GC was part of the fix, as one educator speaking to others. Wishing you and OP the best.
