Will Colleges view QuestBridge or Common App?

Hey there! So yesterday I got a rejection portal update from Pomona–but it was weird because I didn’t apply to Pomona. On application status it said materials received on 10/23/17 so I made a thread and figured it had to do with questbridge (I did not become a NCM finalist). Today, I logged into my dartmouth portal to check financial aid only to see that it too received materials on 10/23 but I submitted my common app (way better!) on 1/01. Will dartmouth review my CA or QB? I emailed them but it’s a Saturday and I’m a bit anxious now, because my QB app was subpar and I really had confidence in my common app. But if they read QB and not CA or read QB at all, I’m doomed. It’s also one of my top choices and last reach schools after getting waitlisted at WUSTL and UChicago yesterday lol!

In addition, does anyone know how dartmouth (and Pomona) got my QB app? I didn’t rank anything and I don’t remember submitting any forms.

Also, how do I know what other colleges my QB went to, and will they take the qb app or the common app?

Can’t you go into your QB account and see what it says there?

@imptime18 where would it be? (I checked my portal but I only saw preview application proof and whatnot)

I’ve referred this to someone that might be able to help more

Google - Will colleges review my questbridge application or the common app. It seems likely that they’ll see both if you accidentally clicked to take advantage of all those free RD applications. Also, perhaps your QB app isn’t as bad as you think. It’s highly competitive and even great applicants that end up in top 20 schools don’t get matched.

At any rate, schools like Dartmouth, esp for regular decision, are hyper competitive. Not getting into any particular school isn’t doom. Best wishes and good luck!
